    Democracy debate

I just spent the last hour and a half watching this debate on the Australian ABC network.

It occurred to me that some on this forum would find it interesting and informative.

No doubt others will find it provocative.

It would be nice to think that anyone commenting on it would watch or listen to it (it's available in streamed video or audio or video download) in its entirety first.

So, grab a drink, find a comfy chair, sit back and enjoy.

You actually think anybody here will devote more than two minutes to listen to some academics from across the globe talk about something not specifically about their own back yard?

    Did you watch it printer?

It's no skin off my nose one way or the other.

I just thought I'd put it out there on the off chance that some here might be interested in democracy.

Listened to about half of it. I prefer the debates the BBC put on instead. More give and take.

To put the world in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must cultivate our personal life; and to cultivate our personal life, we must first set our hearts right.
