The strange thing about this poll, all the share percentages add up to over 210. The share percentages should add up to 100 percent.
Remember, Air Conditioning begins with AIR.

Currently in this order Trane, Lennox, westinghouse we are currently looking at other brands due to Tranes downfall since becoming IR.

I've been pretty happy with the Comfort Makers of late. Variable speed, 96afue, multi positional, solid door locks. Quiet and serviceable. I can't stand when the cabinets are stuffed with hoses and excess wire non-sense. I've got a couple dozen out there and no issues so far.
As others have said, its the install that makes the system. I'll do whatever brand my clients' internet browsing sessions have convinced them they need.

Let's face it, the best brand to sell is one that has Copeland compressors, UT, Honeywell or White Rogers controls, American brand components manufactured either in China or Mexico and are painted some shade of grey, beige or greenish with black or metallic trim.....I'm just saying....

In order..Trane,Carrier,Goodman. I have not installed so many Trane units after the switch to all plastic indoor sections and after IR. It all really depends on the customers wallet mostly, for my lo-cal anyway.

We are a Trane Comfort Dealer, so TECHNICALLY we only carry Trane, but if the customer does not want Trane for some reason, then we have our own brand of units, which is basically an Amana/Goodman with our company badge and stickers on it.

My employer is the new subcontractor for Home Depot. If it's a Home Depot job, Rheem. Otherwise, Amana.

I'm new to the site and can not vote yet however if this helps.. My company sells Trane equipment to about 75% of our customers and supplement the remainder our sales with Goodman and Air Temp (Nordyne).
