    can I convert it?

    I have an old majestic wood burning fireplace, model m36f766772, we burn wood in it, can it be converted to gas logs?

    Off the top of my head, I am thinking this one did come with the gas knockouts. Look on the side panels for a 1" round knock out for a gas pipe. Better yet, locate the manual. Are you installing vented logs or ventfree?
    Keep the fire inside the fireplace.
