Is there truth to the rumor flying around PM's that Glenn accepted the proposal in post #16? Are those two really gone now?

Thats awesome, and I can understand being like that in general practice where that is what you have to work with.
But on a site where we are all here for a common purpose, even if it is in a part of that site where things will get heated? No sense making enemies. You might actually want the opinion or support of one of these guys sometime. And, often the most opinionated are really worthwhile to get to know.
People are just more likely to listen to you in person because they are relating to another person. Online communication is very one sided and we are all just jockeying a keyboard. In this case heavy handedness is, at best, just going to beat up your keyboard faster.
Disagreement and argument is fine and even healthy. My point is that it's probably better to not get too personal online because what you say really isn't saying anything about the person you are talking about. The less you know the other, the more true that is. Instead these things can much more likely give those reading them the wrong impression about the one saying them instead of who they are being said about.______________________________
I lift things up and put them down.

The common purpose of ARP is to escape the common purpose of those that wish to live and breath every aspect of HVAC, or talk shop as some would call it.
You should do a search of all my posts and use them as a model for living right.

I believe Glenn's first post on this thread was generic, he did not mention you, just a "person". And actually, you weren't the first to pop into my mind, but obviously you thought so.
If I may, I believe he offered a truce to ignore but you've been going on. Maybe WE ALL need to partake in a giant chill pill here. I enjoy the reasoning of all, I don't want Glenn or you to go away. I agree with both of you sometimes, and disagree with both of you sometimes, but I do appreciate your views and your ways of thinking. In my opinion, it helps me to learn things, when I can approach issues with an open mind.
