I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I work for an apartment complex & have 10 seer heatpumps(split system). If I need to replace one do I have to replace the airhandler also?
If you want it to work well, you should have a matched indoor coil, more critical with heat pumps. Otherwise you likely will be changing the refrigerant level at the beginning of each season. Cooling needs more juice so you'll have to add to get it to cool right then with the small condenser inside and heating needing less refrigerant, you'll have to take out in the fall.
OR stock up on 10 SEER pumps while you still can.
Thanks for the information!
AND act like
the management, and Screw the residents!
