I was wondering if anyone had any other options for heating and cooling in my attic, other than running duct work up (which could be difficult & too much for the a/c heat pump) and a window unit. I have heard people mention attic units etc. but i cannot seem to located any. I have about 550 sq/ft divided into a bedroom closet and bathroom.

    Any suggestions greatly appriciated.

A mini-split system is one option. How about a seperate system? Airhandler's only take up about 10sq ft., and with a central location not much ductwork should be needed.Ptac's are another option(hotel units). Then there's the high velocity systems that I'm not too familiar with, but the ductwork is smaller than norm.
If everything was always done "by the book"....the book would never change.
