Help with Coleman HP
We got a 14seer Coleman Echelon in 2007 and it has worked pretty well. All of the sudden if I try to run the AC the outdoor unit turns on for about 1-2 min and shuts off.
I cleaned the outside coils today and noticed a fault light for a low pressure lock out.
What does that mean.
Could I have set something improperly in my tstat?
Heat and Em heat work fine.
Thanks for all help.

It has been between 50 and 80.
The past month it has gotten into the 20-30 range.

I meant was it cold out when you turned on the cooling.
Sounds like you may have a leak in the system. You really do need someone who knows what they are doing check it out. If the system is shutting down on low pressure issues, something is wrong that needs to be fixed or it is going to get much worse.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV

Thats what I was told I just wanted to make sure before the repair guy could pull one over on me. I just was shocked that a 5yr old unit could have a leak.
Are there any other things that could cause this issue?
Thanks!
