Double wall elbows
He knew enough that it had to be 100% double wall, how many elbows can be installed in the connector? Otherwise average retrofit.

"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."
"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."
"Just get it done son."

Looks okay to me. I beleive the vent tables have a note stating the tables are based on two elbows, and provide information to adjust the tables for additional elbows.

unbelievably, it is.
members from arizona will back this up also.
It's a local code, and in some cases in that state, I believe it is required.
Other weird codes from the area (that I'm aware of):
The required usage of flex for a portion of the gas line.
Water heaters have to be X inches of the ground. (california I believe)
Water heaters have to be strapped to a wall in case of earthquake. (cali code)"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."

Yea, most of the furnaces here in Vegas are powered off of a "pigtail" cord. When I first moved here, I was like wtf is that crap. But that's how they all are. All gas lines have a flex connector. All water heaters got to be off the floor and strapped to a wall with earthquake straps, also sitting in a drip pan.

nice that the ac trap of right in front of the service door. Using a pigtail ext cord i personally do not like and the flex line just a quick easy way in and out to bad they didn't take more time to hard pipe etc. what a shame
If you can not do it right, Why even do it at all?

Pipe is pipe...he used what he had. Do you really "order pipe" per change-out? Really? B-vent is a bit$# to make up most times anyway....far from the worst I've seen.

the control wire looks like sh!t. i.m.o of course. I'm not a fan of wrapping it to resemble a phone chord

Throw a hanger on the elbow and the flue looks fine to me.

Whats the point of the trap on the evaporator, its on the positive side of the blower. Around this area they are never trapped on the positive side.
