Type I hood, solid fuel (mesquite). Found these in side the ducts. Can they be cleaned? Anybody clean these in the past? I can't believe how grease free these hoods are, but the ash from the mesquite coats everything.





Anybody service and or install mesquite setups? What face velocities are ideal for fire starting? What face velocities are ideal for grilling? what velocities are ideal for cooling coals?
