    Retrofit Goodman SmartShift?

I have a Goodman SSZ14 with extremely noisy defrost shift. Has anyone retrofitted SmartShift onto an existing unit? I would appreciate any information on what part numbers are required, installation, etc.

Yes your goodman dealer should be aware of the fix. I believe it comes as a upgraded defrost board.

You can have it converted to the updated defrost control also, part # is PCBDM133S

It does require some minor wiring changes though
