    notice the potential problem? lol

brand new rtu i encountered recently. the company i work for didn't install this. the remedy for lack of heat was a breeze to diagnose. the idiots who installed & set this thing up r known residential scum/crooks/hacks but i didn't even know they did commercial. they def had no concept on how to set up an economizer. while there i found a few things i wrote up including the pic ... how long into cooling season do u think it will take for a big $ repair? 4th straight day over 80 degree; there'll be a loud noise, then no cooling.

if od coil gets dirty, it won't take 80 degrees

hell, just disconnect the od fans and let's find out
It`s better to be silent and thought the fool; than speak and remove all doubt.

Red compressors don't run as hot as black ones....

Talk them into letting you rewire it properly, should not be too hard....

i wrote my invoice explaining everything that stood out that's wrong & it got quoted w/ pics to go with it. its a month old so i wouldn't b surprised the install company gets called back .. there were some other serious code violations that were in that quote.

Seriously now, it seems to me that most guys are either too lazy to set up economizers or too lazy to read the manual. Sigh.

the service call was in relation to that. I've come to the conclusion a long time ago many ppl don't understand an economizer & even more don't respect the minimum % the balancing company sets them to
