N4 Program Service - Batch Editor

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how to add BooleanChangeOfStateAlarmExt.

I currently have tried to add in this way.

1. Add Slot New Type : alarm , AlarmSourceExt

but this leaves me without an offnormaAlgorithm.
I then try to edit the offnormalAlgorithm but I'm unable to add or change anything.

is there a way to add the alarms or do I just resort to drag and drop from the palette?

If you have access to the VykonProUtil module there is alarm batch add functions in there.

Yeah I don't think you can do that with because the offnormal/fault algorithms are child slots of the AlarmSourceExt. You may be able to then batch add an alarm:OffnormalAlgorithm slot to all of the AlarmSourceExt, but I've never tried.

If its Niagara 4 you can create a template and then in the batch deploy.

Thanks, templates are the future for Niagara. I'm just not use to using them yet.
