    Can someone figure how many tons this unit is?

    Can someone figure how many tons this unit is?

    Also is it possible to find out how many kw or amps it draws?

    hard to read plate, but it looks like an 80 ton unit. approx 235-250 amps.

    W=E X I KW = 1000 watts

    460 x 240= 110,400/1000= approx 110 KW

    great thanks!

    Is my math correct below?

    110 kw x 8 hours a day x 24 days a month x $0.20 kw = $4224 cost to run per month

    no 3 phase formula is slightly and unless you're in a hot/humid climate more than likely only 1 compressor will run mostly unloaded = probably only 1/4 of rated kw or course this depends on outside climate, set point, building envelope insulation, and whether it is being controlled by an automation system

    30x 8=240 x 24 =5760 x .20= $1,152 a month. If you have tennents you can install chilled water sub meters and bill accordingly
