    so my next ? is , is this a place for tinners and tech.s to B.S. or to get support for issues they may have? or is it a place to read info

    There are several open section's of the site for you do this.

    Can you see the general section? and perhaps tried to post in there?

    This site is for anyone in the industry. You may chat it up, just don't beat it up. (See the forum rules link in my sig)

    Get your post count up with some meaningful chat. Try the Tech to Tech area if you are in the service dept or maybe General if you are a tinner. Add your pro information to your bio via the UserCP menu near the top left of each screen.

    Once you apply for Pro, all the areas will be open to you for chat or support.

    got it ! I some how found the general diss. and I guess i just need to play around here to get familiar with this site
