    i have a casitle pellet stove about 8 years old. never any problem till this year after the stove runs awaile when it shuts off then when it goes to relite smoke comes from front of stove when flame startes .at top of glass were insulation is missing .can some one help please.

    hello, sounds like the stove needs to be cleaned. there is supposed to be missing gasket at the top(new ones at the bottom) it's and air wash system designed to keep the glass cleaned. but if the the stove cant pull a vacuum on the firebox, smoke will leak out. I would have the stove thoroughly cleaned.
