I remember working on Mars Gravity, actually nice furnace
Drilled hole in center of cap to allow screwdriver to make adjustment. Installed screw to seal hole
Without going into detail, safety can be bypassed as part of the troubleshooting moment.
The “old-timer” had the models correct that couldn’t recall. I don’t know how many furnaces with 50%...
I admit can’t recall the part number of that safety device. That was truck stock for me many years ago. Same idea as Baso or General Controls safely that only controled the voltage to to the valve....
I don’t know how many time when I fired up a furnace and the pilot would shrink. Yep, copper connector restricted along with the appliance valve. Also I’ve also found connectors with the flare Gone....
I’m sticking with Faron Young
Looks like Rundawg doesn’t want them. Anyone else interested
I’m having difficulty posting pictures
However google:
Honeywell W720B1011
Honeywell W129A2X1
This will show excellent pictures on eBay
Thank you
Yes, however after thinking about it I’ll wait and see if rundawg is interested. He has been such a help and a gentleman. I’ll see if he has a desire for one or all.
Thank you for responding
I see you moved my post
I am in Pro and am not selling these.

Google Honeywell Systems Tester and one on EBay will show several pictures
I have three vintage meters if anyone is interested. One Honeywell millivolt that was probably from the forty or fifties, an Amprobe clam I purchased about 1966 and a Honeywell Systems Tester I...
I also have hearing aids. I Bluetooth from phone to hearing aids. Works great.
Are yours able to do this feature
Guy I worked with 50 years ago had one. Other guys simply used truck manifold
I’ve been retired since 2004 so my dealings with Fieldpiece go back a bit
We wanted to have one meter for our guys and I bought 25 HS35 and the ma/uA heads to try out. The guys liked them so I...
I just realized how old this thread is. Which begs the question “What’s a thermocouple “
Anderson and Forester have a tap kit for exactly what you need. I carried one for years and that’s where I got it.
AUA2 - Milliamps & Microamps Accessory Head
You need to add microamp head to read microamps. It doesn’t come with meter
Oops sorry Rundawg
Clipper and Clipperette (sp) furnaces. You might be inthe Bay Area. I believe those were pretty much a regional furnace company. I worked many of those. Not to many forced air with millivolt system....
I remember Lennox of the 60’S had all brown wires with tags on them
That’s what I was originally thinking, but I couldn’t see well enough.
General Controls had pilot generator powered safety valves:
MR-2 & MR-5
Older ones have lugs for PG
Newer version were thermocouple type
General Controls had pilot generator powered safety valves:
MR-2 & MR-5
Old Fraser-Johnson made it easy. Date right there
Watching a HGTV show on people buying properties. This one was in Holland Michigan and that reminded me of the Holland Furnace Co. I’ve haven’t seen one in probably 30-40 years. I recall the floor...
Glad you said that. I’ve replaced several stats that our guys damaged from jumping without remove red wire. Unlike most comments it may happen
I googled around, couldn’t locate it
I’ll do my best to describe which I believe it to be:
Picture a wall corner with one side in living area and the other in the hall. Access to the burner and...
Oops forgot to list. PG-1 pilot generator
Rated 50,000 I believe
I’m pretty sure I’m familiar with this furnace. If I remember correctly it has a round burner and is a millivolt system. Original parts were General Control B-60 valve, T80 thermostat and an...
I’m not sure if this model is equipped with this or not.
Look for a plate that covers limit control. The plate is designed to move away from the limit so the heat is not trapped under it allowing...
I’ve seen a floor furnace with those burners, but not in that configuration. Also have those burners in gravity furnaces. That pilot is reminiscent of the forty/ fifties with no safety.
Oh brother, foiled again. How do these old post find the light of day.
I’m going to reiterate my previous comment on installing an adjustable appliance reg. This enables you to bring it into final adjustment if needed.
I understand completely: went to a noisy furnace call. Noise was a faint beep every now and then. After checking furnace, smoke alarms refrigerator I realized she was with me every step. Turns out...
I remember years ago you could buy a tstat that had a range called comfort with no numbers. As I recall it had 50 and then a blank range and then 90 I could be wrong on the numbers.
I remember years ago I had two millivolt wall furnaces were wired together in such a fashion when the pilot flame went out the valve was still energized by the other. This allowed the burner to come...
You seem to have a handle on the the conversion to a variable speed motor. I will assume you have researched the complete package to convert. Would you care to share what your dollar amount target...
Off subject
Where is SeattlePioneer, haven’t heard from him
Likewise
Enjoy and thank you. I’ve been unemployed for 16 years, you will love it. Adios
I’m unfamiliar with Monitor heaters. Your post says Floor Furnace and I couldn’t find those.
Might check the appliance valve for partially closed or a wad of grease blocking flow
Many years ago we got a bonus, a certain percentage of our pay. I received I think $1000. That was the only time non management received it. Every year management has received it. Just the way it...
Have you researched the EBay B60 or the White Rodgers version. It appears you are trying to avoid any re-work to install any other valve. Another old valve that worked for floor furnace was the...
American HVAC parts has the White Rodgers replacement since they bought General Controls. I couldn’t copy it.
Google: White Rodgers B-60 valve
I just found a 3/4” B-60 on Ebay
