First floor is concrete and metal deck.
I dont know the second floor but i would guess wood.
You can use the wireless attachment as a sender or a repeater.

I gave my HG3 a good test yesterday.

I always called that a Flat Parker fitting.

I would say it depends on the drive.
A simple drive would be ok, like the condenser fan mentioned above.
The drives that are field mounted I would say absolutely not.
