Cant go wrong with digi cools
I love mines. I just ordered some gasket seals for the manifold part of it
but its wear and tear stuff.
I dropped it several times and kinda get abused...
I would like to thank Ms Brenda and Dough Lockheart for helping me find a solution to one of my ak900.
There was no display and I though it was dead but all I had to do was tighten some screws and...
I dont use the 3 in 1 to troubleshoot it.
I use the manual starter with one button
If it shows its lock then I run leak detector on unit.
usually compressor goes out for a reasong so I leak check...
I just ordered the Iconnect setup. Looks like the Manometer is out now.
In what aplication would I need to use the manometer if the two probes already calculate CFM.
Is it because the probes are...
I have about 3 of those in my storage somewhere.
I also have one that I made but I usually just use the simple manual starter with one button.
If it starts I install original components. the...
I have the fieldpiece set up also.
I guess i will sell it and I can buy the Iconnect.
I just bought the Testos. I just bought 2 wetbulb probe and Hotwire
I think I will connect my ak900 and just...
How do you like the Iconnect so far? Thinking of buying one. I just got the Testos but it seems like you have to input everything.
Also will it show difference in Enthalpy?
I forgot about Youtube University..
any idea on magnet or is that on youtube also?
I dont think you can input the cfm in the Testo but not sure.
you just have to manually calculate it.
cfm x DH X 4.5 (sea level)
I just got mine but it doesnt really have a good instructions....
I would use my Coil jack to lift coil or use plumber strap to raise coil 2". Then pull furnace out.
Clean coil while its suspended.
Then reverse procedure to return
also have called Brenda but they dont answer or call back. I own four ak900 and Im having problem with one of them
Im trying to buy parts for it but they are no responding.
Im not sure why.
does it have a copper or aluminum evap coil
Does anybody know the measurement on that air handler?
Got a restaurant that added a cooking grill in the middle of the restaurant to cook steaks etc.
I informed them before they installed hood, exhaust and make up air that they will need additional AC....
did they change thier evap coil to all aluminum already?
or in the prosses
this is what happens when the government gets involve..
I miss them old days
What pissed me off the most is the AC guys always gets the blame..
used to work for a school.
1) if it rains and its leaking its probably coming from the AC
2)Teacher burns popcorn in the lounge...
Well as TRUMP say it..........YOU FIRED!!!!!
First of all I dont think your boss will be paying for that.
That expensive piece of equipment has warranty or insurance.
I think they had issues with power all along
Thats what probably took the compressor
the phase monitor was probably telling you theres issues with power
So the MRI machine had no protections from power surge
or power failure?
Something dont add up..
you said the unit was being protected by 3 fuse?
What SEER rating is the condenser?
20 amp protecting 5 ton dont sound right.
did you ever figured out why the unit...
By the way thanks for the screw driver trick
I will use that to check plate from now on.
I'm always learning.
I may blow this machine up pretty soon
But I will always be...
The problem is the book say this machine will make ice in
Approx 30 min.
In 30 min ice is not quite ready.
Water level in sump is still half way.
I could move the float to...
Ok I will check that.
It seems like if there is a separation
There would be ice patern issue.
Also if evap is separated
It would make a no load or less load
Causing suction pressures...
I haven't made it back yet
I'll give update when I return.....
It had ice from top to bottom
In every grid.
I'll take the bad thermostat.
So they are giving away Class A in Florida now.?
They give it away here in Texas too
As long as you have $500 dollars
You going to leave without telling us?
tmech you'll be fine.....
If something goes wrong, He's doomed.
His side job.
Go back to what manufacture recomends.
If you don't have that
I usually go with
Highest ambient (ur area) +30(convert to psi) +50
Usually you don't need a manual reset if the system has a lock...
Any high pressure cut out is better than none.
Your old 5 ton had the S circuit active also
What ever happened to
He used to be here all the time.
I will pull the compressor curve on this comp.
I'm not what else it could be
No did not have problem harvesting.
I don't think water inlet is leaking
Cause I clearly remember the big tub they had behind this machine
They are recycling the water
Using to water...
At exactly 1 hour suction is 40 psi
And ready to harvest
Ice thickness is a good size
Every grid has ice
It has a liquid line solenoid
And pump down held
900 lbs remote
Long freeze. Locks out on 3 beeps.
How are you guys checking TXV.?
Called tech sup
2 guys had diff opinion.
Hot gas valve seems ok.
I was at harbor freight
The other day and I saw a tachometer.
I was thinking of buying one just to play around with it.
My favorite tool is my HELPER.
puts up ladder
Clean my van
Brings me water
Cary my tools
I think goodman charge it that way
Testo here also
But I'm buying Sta2 hot wire
How bout you sheet metal guys
Don't you guys make a rack specially
For coppers? I would like to see it.
I have mine strap up with bungee
Makes a lot of noise and it's hard to removed them....
