I have installed many climatemasters that have had more flow than needed and have never had any problems. If any thing it will be a benefit. No need to worry.

If the thermistors are bad they will lock the unit out on freeze protection. I have seen them test open or the resistance will be out wack. climatemaster has a resistance chart for them.
