    Amp out the ignitor. See if it reaches a peak before the gas comes on.

    Try it cold (allow 10 minutes of rest before trying). If the ignitor doesn't peak prior to gas, replace.

    Looks like a 3/8 liquid line, and they attached it to a peice of 1/4 they had laying around.
    Or a 1/4 liquid line, that would act like a restriction.
