ok thanks much appreciated!
also then I know how to get the tonage how do you read the nominal seer on model#?
O I recently graduated hvac program teacher said up to 30deg. then read a post on here guy said he used this
SEER TD Range
8 30 33
10 25 30
12 20 25
13> 10 20
ok they say condensing sat point is up to 30 degrees over ambient. but lower for the higher SEER rated condensors. how do you know what the seer rating is of the condensor your working on?
How do you determin the SEER rating for condinsing temps over ambient?:anyone:
also not sure but think it is a bigger unit what about blower fan cfm & short cycleing & damp in the house.
if they didnt close the service valves dont the oil attract moisture(hygroscopic) or whatever the word is.
Have some one who wants me to install a used condensing unit. I have recentlly graduated from hvac program. im very leary. would u ever get the moisture out of oil? What is any ones thoughts. Thanks
fixed orfice had cap tubes. sc didnt take direct temp but was high because line was cool 2 the touch.
evap was only cold a 1/3 of the way up. head was 300psig low was @ 32 deg. everything clean. added 1/3 of a pound of r22 got correct superheat. head pressure was @ 350. no non condinsables....
Yea some replies I Got about the leak stop said had seized the compressor also mess up your gauges. Whoes to say any system u hook up 2 could have it in there!
Ok the concensus seems to be leak stop is bad bad bad! what about the dye to locate a hard 2 find leak? shoot it in or no?:gah:
Has anyone tried that leak stop? I cant find the leak & wondering how good that stuff works.:grin2:
