This is important.

There are 3 CUs on this job, 2T, 4T, and 2.5T. The first 2 caps were undersized, I checked. Can't get specs for the 2.5T. Trying to do due diligence.
I'll apply,
thanks
Rundawg, have an American Standard 4A7A4030L need to change out cap.

R410 boils at minus 55.3°F
this is no where near ambient, in fact it is about 120°F below ambient
there are terminology issues going on here
is charge weighed in?
Even tho the low control should be set lower than 20, lo side should show at least 30 at startup; high should be about 375
someone went after the nuts and did not use a backup wrench on the Tee body.....
why would seriously anyone need to ask this question?
Brain not capable of handling the concept of cause and effect?
the Rx11 flush won't hurt the hoses but i doubt that will get you where u wanna go...the Chrysler expansion valve setup is way more complicated than it needs to be and is subject to failure. Even in...
no chance those long runs will clog
"at ambient of 90F, low side was about 33-35psi, high side was 200-225 psi, at about the 30psi of suction the compressor was tripped - vent temps were 44-48F. "
Those numbers look much better....
the early toyota manuals were not user friendly. They were filled with inconsistencies, contradictions, and in some cases incomprehensible Engrish. I think this was because different sections were...
"as soon as the compressor starts, I should see some bubbles
after say 3 mins, it should be all clear, right?"
umm more like 2 min.
you have written a very quick summary.
If you re-read what i...
"specs call for 750 to 850 gm of R12"

If foam on all 4 sides the space between may not...
Evap and condenser need to be clean. Also cabin air filter if there is one, but back then that was unusual.
With R12 you should be able to freeze meat in that car.

you are at 18 and want 0. suction will continue to drop slowly as box continues to pull down. valve needs a pressure differential.

need more numbers. 295 seems low.
Is this AOP?
should not try to clear the glass with 404. there is an emerson bulletin on this

over time religion has triggered more war than any other cause
put the number into the Tecumseh site and it will tell you all the specs incl oil. No label on it?
search this forum. These have been discussed many many times.
Really quick take

subcooling tells you how much refrigerant is in the...
Bruce, the support engineer at Dole, is a top notch guy. I am surprised he didn't suggest going to a 404 system. You'd get to less than 40 with that

I have a competitor to the Blue Vac that works very well. I contacted the mfg direct and asked about exposure to pressure and they said, 'don't do it'. so i don't, i valve it off when charging.

I have a guess but are you a HVAC-R technician or electrician?
There is precious little info here. Dirty filter? Dirty condenser? Ever have a pro look at it? There is very little DIY in the world of HVAC-R
Compression ratio is diff on 404 vs 134, so doubt 134 compr. would work the way U want, and would prolly need diff cap tube, or just use 404 TXV. Not sure about evap tubing and cond. coil, tho. Need...
normally that is an oil drain pan for a car you get at OReilly's

He keeps smoldering fires going, frequently uses unseasoned or wet wood, and leaves the HVAC fan running continuously
