    Hmmm, i have replaced at least a dozen of these with shorted windings and have never recieved any relays with the new motors. How are these wired? I assume into the 120 leg that closes the relay?

    Ok, got ya.Thats not a smart valve to clear up confusion.Thats just a 24 v valve. Was it a delayed ignition? I would def check for a gas leak in the vestibule and check the location on the ignitor.

    If it has a smart valve it should have a pilot. Am i missing something? Every smart valve has a rod/ignitor assembly. Is it the diagnostic smartvalve or non? Is the valve gray or tan?
