By the way thanks for the screw driver trick
I will use that to check plate from now on.
I'm always learning.
I may blow this machine up pretty soon
But I will always be...
The problem is the book say this machine will make ice in
Approx 30 min.
In 30 min ice is not quite ready.
Water level in sump is still half way.
I could move the float to...
Ok I will check that.
It seems like if there is a separation
There would be ice patern issue.
Also if evap is separated
It would make a no load or less load
Causing suction pressures...
I haven't made it back yet
I'll give update when I return.....
It had ice from top to bottom
In every grid.
I'll take the bad thermostat.
So they are giving away Class A in Florida now.?
They give it away here in Texas too
As long as you have $500 dollars
You going to leave without telling us?
tmech you'll be fine.....
If something goes wrong, He's doomed.
His side job.
Go back to what manufacture recomends.
If you don't have that
I usually go with
Highest ambient (ur area) +30(convert to psi) +50
Usually you don't need a manual reset if the system has a lock...
Any high pressure cut out is better than none.
Your old 5 ton had the S circuit active also
What ever happened to
He used to be here all the time.
I will pull the compressor curve on this comp.
I'm not what else it could be
No did not have problem harvesting.
I don't think water inlet is leaking
Cause I clearly remember the big tub they had behind this machine
They are recycling the water
Using to water...
At exactly 1 hour suction is 40 psi
And ready to harvest
Ice thickness is a good size
Every grid has ice
It has a liquid line solenoid
And pump down held
900 lbs remote
Long freeze. Locks out on 3 beeps.
How are you guys checking TXV.?
Called tech sup
2 guys had diff opinion.
Hot gas valve seems ok.
I was at harbor freight
The other day and I saw a tachometer.
I was thinking of buying one just to play around with it.
My favorite tool is my HELPER.
puts up ladder
Clean my van
Brings me water
Cary my tools
I think goodman charge it that way
Testo here also
But I'm buying Sta2 hot wire
How bout you sheet metal guys
Don't you guys make a rack specially
For coppers? I would like to see it.
I have mine strap up with bungee
Makes a lot of noise and it's hard to removed them....
I'm planing to buy FP
Dual psychrometer where I can check real time btu output
But I don't want to buy that superman 4 gauges
That must be the one made in Pakistan :grin2:
Make sure you have enough water coming in.
Water volume is the key.
Make sure you line size is big enough.
Water inlet screen not plug
I have my copper hanging
Makes a lot of noise
Need ideas on how
And where you guys store copper
I have 3 ak900
I don't use anything else.
But I like fieldpiece wireless
Where it can connect to air handler and give you
Real time readings
Digicool getting left behind
I installed Psc motors also when theres an issue.
X13 suppose to save them money
Only to used all that savings on the expensive motor
I'll check with carrier Monday on pricing and possibly carrying
Call tech supt.
Make sure it's the same capacity.
So the module you Carry will work on a 1.5 ton -5 ton drive?
Is it running?
So is it 460 or 230
Agree.. More than .5 across coil can cause it to fly out of coil
Replacement module that you guys carry, can it go to any gentec
Regardless of horse power ?
Always thought they need go be individually programmed
I usually convert it to txv and im done..
I'm in Texas
I want to go to Florida
Sent me a ticket.Lol
Agree with rundawg..
Ohm out DT.
Dirty coil is probably your problem.
If you have a static pressures close to .5 across that coil, air flow start to be unstable.
Condensate can actually fly off the coil at those pressures.
How are you converting it to piston?
do you have a fitting to connect to male thread on the coil?
Evap coil on furnace
Evap coil is leaking and I need to replace but need to make sure it's an approved match
if you have the extra wires like I ask that means your motor is after market.
I you changed it and installed the same horse power, that motor will mess up.
Like timjimbob said the oem will...
Is that mean according to watt to speed ratio your fan is actually running at 1150 at high speed?
