Ah a good one. Still rocking my two weathertrons circa 1986
I looked at the app and never used it.
Readings
1st failed out of warranty, but the following 2, "not including the one that took a dump today" we're under 5 months. This time it was reading higher amp draw than present. So this is #4. Is this...
Changed out my share of boxes, drains, etc..
Sounds like an engineer.
Had a return wallpapered over and the grill screwed back on today. no-flow filter.. lol
Tstat was programmed as a heatpump as well
649031649041649051 Should not be too hard to find all the issues.
:eek2:
Almost feel like I'm doing a disservice changing out a low ge cap for an off the truck foreign cap.
Oh i'm quite aware of that. Work on some commercial jobs that have tam4 AH. WOW...... :ditto:
Have 2 ge trane weathertron exe circa 1986. I have replaced 1 cap, OD motor, and re-engineered the overly complicated controls. Love them. If I had to choose it would either be AM Standard, or a...
Can't top that list. Occasionally a check valve.
Looks like he may have drowned.
is that a 90% coil?
My Tranes came with little engineers to assure unit longevity. Great Pumpkin and what not.....
Least the condensate line has fall.
Will do
Well the entire fuse panel was replaced, all new cover and all. Fixed my back door, that had no inner handle, and replaced wiper fluid bottle that leaked. Some yellow dust on plastic/fender well.
Picking up today. We will see if they cleaned it all up. Fire ex will be replaced before I leave shop.
Ran into this last week. Old honeywell 5000 hooked up to a voyager between an exit door and a walk in cooler.
Just speading the bad juju around.
Personal vehicle is a 04 Freestar. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. Recall queen. The mess is in the hands of competent highly trained professionals. Yeah right. Ill get it back. We call her...

Got my loaner van. Should say Carrier though. Lol
Not washed. They added windshield wiper fluid to the tank which leakes. Has been raining cats and dogs last couple of days. Waiting for the wrecker to collect it. That pic includes relay for...

Got some pics.
Crap. Yellow powder on open exposed main fuse/relay terminal. It has to be tossed and replaced. I did not panic powder the engine, but aimed hose right at board and pumped handle so I just put out...
It will probably throw a inefficient catalyst code now. Haha.
Well main fuse panel with harness is shot. It did start up, but the headlamp relay had to be pulled since it was the culprit. I was asked if I felt comfortable driving it in. Well I do not know...
I have driven them all. Sprinter was my favorite.
Sadly the wildlife appears only after I chemically clean a condenser.
Oil change today, filled the tank, drove her home. While i was trying to remedy a rear door refusing to open I noticed my headlights were still on and smoke rolling out of the hood. Entire main...
Operating 4 blower motors for vehicle dryer. Now the control box was sealed fairly well, but manufacturers specifications did note a humidity tolerance slightly higher than rain forest.
Yes, but were set too high.
620251 2 blown motors. Missing some controls/creative wiring. :eek2:
Annual no cool due to battery only stat. Offer to pull wire, NO!... "My Ex-Husband is an attorney and you people have caused me considerable grief" Mellow Dramatic Greek Matriarch, but rather...
Ill take a cellar.
Pressure Test, get a new furnace. Geez. Lol
I have never seen a pulse furnace that was easily accessible for service. I mean muscles cramping.
Get in a crawl space where you have to dig to get your clearances. A basement is a luxury here. Laying on my back with FSK tape trying to finish a duct my co worker used a whole bucket of mastic...
when my gauges get another trip to California
On an install today. 80% downflow with cooling coil in crawl was replaced. 80% furnace installed in crawl and new b-vent was ran. Ran from furnace back up through floor, water heater connects and...
I am OCD, but I use a tubing Bender. I hate cross crossing linesets, rain tight, tape with wrinkles, etc. This man is an artist.
Odd. Hmmmm Gauges didn't work. It takes a new TXV. Sounds reasonable.
X2 Kicking unit.
Second Trane w/climatuff. 30y/o still rocking. Some frankensteining done, Control side modernization.
LL solenoid closes and compressor trips on thermal. That makes perfect sence. Cooler seemed to be operating normally, so that supports it. I did feel the shell and she was hot, but not hot enough...
Yeah I understand a bit about low ambient controls Liquid line solenoid, etc. I did not want to own someone else's hack. The contactor was always pulled in, but not welded, wired to always be...
OK i only do hi-temp residential. I went to a gas station to unclog a drain and owner asked me to look at a Condenser. I told him I'll look at it out of curiosity. He told me someone had wired it...
Had a noisy condenser complaint on a Lennox merit, or elite. The unit with the fence holding it up. Was expecting loose screws. Part of the problem yes, but some bright person used it as a step...
