    and

    Latent heat of Vaporization is 965 btu/lb (change steam to water).

    Formula: BTU's = Lbs x Deg x SH (specific heat...

    Formula: BTU's = Lbs x Deg x SH (specific heat of material)

    Note: specific heat of water is 1.0.

    So with a little Algerbra: Btu ÷ (Lbs x SH) = Deg.
