I have spent all summer trying to find a contractor,getting bids,doing research and decided on a contractor I trusted to do a good install using the Rheem brand 2.5 ton ac and now I found this...

Any pro's out there have any thoughts on the Frigidaire 23.5 seer IQ Drive unit"s are far as repairs ,operations etc.Do you think the technology is too new ?

The home is 50 years old,installed Central Air in 1979 and thats what the contractor at the time used?Think I will cross Amana of the list

I just have never heard of the brand,what I want is a GOOD install and will be willing to pay more for that alone.Its crazy with all the brands out there to pick one now that I know the requirements...
