    It took 65 seconds for my furnace to use one cubic foot of gas. Which equals 55 cubic feet per hour. Which equals 52061 btu/hr. Pretty close to the name plate input rating of the furnace.

    I will agree that I'm probably not getting 96.6% efficiency. That's why carrier stated "up to" 96.6% efficient. But the lower flue temperature proves more of the BTU's are remaining in my home.....
