Looks like we got a Jedi Duel over com analyzers.
Both these guys are masters at their craft. Let's see if there is a definitive first place finisher.
ROTHFLMA ...the Digi Cool guys are laughing them selves silly over Refco a thread that they ripped Refco to pieces. It was in very poor taste, but pay no attention. Refco in a robust accurate...
You guys gonna tell me that you don't think that some of the problems with digitals were not cause by the owners?

how the hell can you compare the two? theses are electronic instruments not concrete.
Some people just exaggerate to make a product like bad. Also the owners of some of theses digials ain't the...

My supplier never heard of Digi Cool.
Where's your 557 and 570? You don't have an SMAN3 either.
Call Testo in Germany. They might have domestic discount policy for technicians who work around, Western, Northern, and Southern Europe.
My son works for Bosch has such a policy in place.
Don't do it! Digi Cools have no whee near the features of Testo.
LOL..the scale has been discontinued. Looks like I may have misunderstood the Testo rep.
As far as adapting an amp clamp , don't think I'd take the chance.
Still a kick ass instrument.

looking at TTT site there IS a Testo rfer scale ($465) that is compatible with the 570. I discussed this accessory at length with a Testo rep. It is definitely made to be used with the 570.
it has a wireless printer and the third probe has listing in the menu for the amp clamp, a comp oil temp tester.
570 is the top of the line Testo....what made you think it was not wireless? ...
$235. at TTT.
Advantage is you can read the amps simultaneously as well as reading the condenser air in. And with the WB and DB remote sensors reading are wi-fied to to your manifold from the...
your work station will be at the cond unit. Why would you need remote SC and SH at your manifold as you are monitoring the system?
the old fashion way, I look for it.
you need FPs transmitters and a remote sensor for every conceivable temp measurement.
And i got a Email from Trutech today rescinding pre-orders cause FP sill has no friggin' delivery date.

Change the the tip filter and desiccant bread regularly and keep it away from water.
I don't claim to know everything but RSES membership would sure benefit a lot of guys on here.
a megger was designed for a hermetic comp, not an open motor. but I'm sure a megger is misapplied like a lot of instruments.
What the heck does 100 bucks get you in a megger?
When I buy an instrument like a megger I look for certification from a testing authority.
A bunch of green and red LEDS don't cut it. You...

TruTech is a supplier while Appion is a mfg. Trutech puts kits together from different manufacturers ...see why now?
Heck, that's standard equipment in anybodies vac kit these days.

All the important HVAC related stuff is.
Sorry to say, but yes it is true.
Oh yeah, bought one last month.....still don't know half of what it can do.
Fieldpiece or Testo...both are great...some guys just complain and crab about them cause they don't know all the functions and are too embarrassed to admit here
Time to close this thread.
I just came in from swedgeing 1 1/8" copper with one hand.
And i tried 3/8 too, it did not split.
That is probably just a problem with the two handle model.
Johnstone had them in their flyer.
Heavy duty protection.
Wll, I like my Sman 3 (and 4) my 557 and my 570.
