I belive these guys make the drives for cutler (not 100% sure) but i had same issue a while back and tracked it to vacon and looked at there site for recalls / product issues...

Could there be a return fan or hepa filter bank somewhere you dont know about,or prhaps a sound attenuator that has become a filter over the years.Also take a close look at your txv bulbs and ext....

Can anyone shed some light on how the hi/low ports designations don't matter (can hook up either way) and if it's a hot wire type or pressure?,can they be zeroed or recalibrated.

When the bearings needed recalibration and you plugged in the laptop was it mcquay or turbocor software.If it was turbocor how does one go about obtaining it.
