My system has the condensate draining in to the sump crock. Most municipalities require the sump water to be piped outside. If you pipe it in to the sanitary sewer it places more strain on the water...

Looks like they brazed the crack shut. All that effort and they didn't replace the exchanger, some people I wonder about.

Keep the leak sealer as far away from your unit as possible. Solder the copper lines ? Did he mean braze because I wouldn't use solder.
