this is from a service ticket--i'm at my mothers house in ohio .including basement the house is about 4000 sq ft.the furnace is phisically large.there must be a #...
what size is this unit ?--G14Q5-80-8
big furnace.would think 125-150k btu?
dont want to remove door to find out actual btu.
odd shaped unit?is that a split system?
drove by the copland plant near lima....maybe piqua???...the plant now says emerson.Did they buy out copland or what?
The carrier tin plated coils & the trane all aluminum coils have been very good to us.
The other brands that have not addressed the leaking issue have there heads in the sand.
the trane hyperion air handler would work
the carrier indy plant & the trane tyler plant are 1st rate.
the rheem plant sounds like the goodman condensor facility in houston.
wonder if the union presence on the previous mentioned plants...

bobboan please expand this is a sealed system.Not double wall...but sealed.on double wall could also fail as long as we are looking at long shots...if that is even the reason for the ban?

by the way the lennox & trane system are for use with NON potible...
any factory matched & rated hydronic systems?
going to replace a 15 year old matched rheem system...nice...distributor says rheem does not offer similar systems any longer.
need a 2.5-3 ton system....
