Not looking at how to take the readings, just if anyone knows how much this particular brand requires.
Air on at the condensor is at 30 degrees C.
This is a old unit
Just wondering if anyone can help me out with how much subcooling this split ducted should have?
I carry my wolf-eyes sniper-II everywhere.
Does the fluke meters have a wet bulb function?
That srh77a looks quite good too. Havnt had to use a ir thermometer yet so probably don't need one
It would only be used to read the temp from say supply air outlets on the ceiling or maybe condensor water pipe temps etc.
Was only asking about this particular brand because I will be getting some...
i was a little unsure of the hose sizes but thanks for clearing the 3/8 reduced to 1/4 fittings. now I just need to find a good supplier that sends to australia :anyone:
been called to a few that were a/c not working, found the problems to be 18 degrees C on heating to cool or 30 degrees C on cool to heat.
thanks for all of your posts
all good, just found the problem today :)
yeah I suspect that the heater thermistor is showing a faulty reading coming up with a heater over heating alarm, even with the heaters isolated. I just need to source the thermistor resistance...
Hi all, I'm thinking of getting the YJ superevac system 1 or a four port gauge. this would only really be used to evacuate a system as I use other gauges on the daily basis.
How often would the DigiCool need to be calibrated?
Well yeah I guess they want you to buy the other valve core removal tool as well, at the moment I'm using a digital thermometer that the sensor wraps around the pipe
Thank you Chuck
