He did let us stay after class to work on lab or if we needed one on one.
LOL Well, we didn't have time for that!
Anything on the IAQ models?
I heard Honeywell is coming out with some new WiFi?
Dang, I jumped a little!
I didn't have this fun back then! :-)
As I was watching the video, I was thinking, "How does that work!"? then saw your post later!
I did do that one summer, and it made it warmer up there since the hall way is getting the heat from the living room, kitchen/dinning room. So the comfort was better with it closed in my case.
I've seen a few homes like that here in MN with this set up, and I have this in my hallway.
I close the lower one in the summer, and open in the winter. In a way, i am glad to see that set up in...
What is the make/model of t-stat? A higher end t-stat w/ outdoor sensor can lock out the Aux heat.
I agree, I was thinking the same thing too..
You need to open the phonebook and get a good dealer that does the Manual-J Calc on YOUR home.
It has not lost it's time or any other settings.
I did reinstalled the equipment on it yesterday and see what will happen. I went into the Error menu, and didn't see anything, so hit reset on it...
My in-law has a 3 years old Carrier Infinity system. Last fall, they mention to me the stat screen was showing "Emergency Heat" on the screen.. I go and check it and sure enough it was showing...
The heat pump should keep up by itself just fine, but if you are using set back temp, then you are calling the heat strip in recovery..
You are best to set your temp and forget it!
Glad to hear it worked out well. Did you get a two stage stat with it?
40˚?? That is awaful warm cut off for a HP.
I'm taking it that the house temp was below set point? Depedning on the sett up menu, if the house is cooler than 3˚, the gas back up will come on for...
I am keeping my 4 a bit longer.. Am happy with it.
Don't be afraid of the Duel Fuel system. My parents has it in their home, and it's very comfy there.. I think it's set up to switch over to gas when it's down to 20˚.
Wow!! How long did that take to defrost!?
Isn't still cold in the winter in CO for this to be outside??
Did they also add the return/filter grill on the duct (right side) too!?
Wow, that's a good job! Got photos after the project was done, or still in the work w/ the class?
Did you look for the HRV? It may be in the attic in your home?
dang, was there water in basement before??
It is normal for the blower to run slower in A/C vs Heat on the newer system for better comfort, and humidity removal. If your unit is 3.5, and the furnace is set to 3.5, no changes is needed.
