well it sounds to me like you may be working on a chp20 lennox php? if so there are 2 pressure switches in the low voltage.1 is for defrost termination and the other is standard pressure switch.there...
by looking at the model # on a/h is that a 3.5 ton?
if so the txv your using may not match outdoor unit.
56j19...1 to 3 ton
56j20....3.5 to 5 ton
could be issue with superheat
also check cfm!
lennox is charged by approach, is indoor temp high? check charge by approach method if indoor temp is high i have noticed high superheat...lennox sometimes gives you an subcooling chart on there...
if it is a downflow airhandler the coil on the cb29 and cb 30 models have to be flipped upside down....

i can't figure it out super heat will hold at about 16 degrees for about a minute and then will drop to 2 degrees on a fixed orfice. blower speed steady and suction...
what would cause an unstable super heat on a fixed orfice coil...blower running fine .evap coil clean
suction pressure steady at 80 psi but superheat changing from 5 to 15 degrees .head pressure...
