Whatever man. Keep passing that delusional crap to the unknowing.
*Insert doge meme.*
Much chest pound.
Impress with hack.
I've been an oem rep for all the big boys except Lennox. Every single one of them is one interested in two things - market share and margin. They will sell to anyone to get there. Stop drinking the...
Mini split with small ducted air handler or two heads. Hotel units are too noisy.
That 110K furnace is huge. Why so big?
If you size the equipment for cooling load, then the Hyper Heat is an advantage. I suggest sizing for heating load. Compressor and fan will just run slower in cooling.
Nice analogy that shows you don't really know the hvac market.
Man, guess you have a few things to fix...
No manufacturer looks at the installation unless there are operational issues. Duct design is on the contractor.
Pick a brand. They have crappy installations. I've been a tech rep for multiple brands. I've seen it.
They can offer it because it's no different than any other product. If applied correctly,...
1000 cfm / 300 fpm = 3.333 sf
3.333 sf * 144 si/sf = 480 si
You need a 20*24 minimum for 1" pleated. Suggest a 20*25*5 but a 16*25*5 will suffice.
1" filter racks should be banned.
No need for it in many cases but you need to understand why one may be there.
Much DIY. So easy fix. Stupid ripoff pros.
Great point regarding cchtr vs compressor windings.
But but but I can read forums and fix problems. ;)
I call bull****. Home Depot doesn't have inventory. Is some idiot contractor selling equipment? Maybe. Now HD Supply is another story. They're supposed to be selling to facility management companies....
Low Voltage Defrost Relay on most defrost control boards power the O circuit all the way back to the air handler and stat. It's rare to see the O signal isolated.
Direct to consumer? Not likely.
Broads are hot.
Yep. Good crew. Third generation running the day to day. Smart fellows.
I work in Distribution side of the industry now. No contracting.
Go with Roth. Phil and the boys will treat you well. If you want a second quote, call Monroe Heating in Clarksville. They probably...
They've both been a customer of mine. I'd recommend Roth of the two.
Ok. You're thinking. :)
FYI - 24V inputs override decisions made from comms. Haven't tried it but R-G might override a call for heat. Something to consider.
