Thanks guys for the responses, I will investigate some more on tues, but at the last visit the actual prongs of (solenoid)plug on compressor were ohming to ground............... i've never seen this...

im working on this carrier infinity (carrier), fuse keeps popping, traced out 24v curcuit back to solenoid in compressor (2 stage) it seems to be grounding out and blowing fuse on call for comp...

can anyone tell me why this brand new copeland CR41KQ-PFV-280AB keeps shutting off on internal temp saftey (internal overload). It runs for 5-6 sec and then shuts off for 5-10mins then runs again...
