i just worked on one a few weeks ago, it amazes me how long things last when quality is stood highest priority.

that's a good furnace for a barn, just put a new filter and nozzle in it, adjust air and run it.

I ran into this problem 2 weeks ago, found the black condensate lines that drop into the trap were cut to short, also found if they aren't cut down about an 1" the pressure switch won't always pull...

wow to pulling up an old thread...did anyone ever figure out the real truth to this debate? Now i am curious.

haven't seen the 17 yet but just did a startup on the 19 seer today.

we get paid from boots on to boots off if it is within 20 miles. anything over that we get paid from the time we leave to the time we are done with the job.

this is correct the board must see open before it see's closed.

I agree with this being a trane tech i wouldn't put less than a XL800 Deluxe. On another note in 10 years when a variable speed motor fails those are very costly, i mean VERY!!!

Trane, because i find them easier to service then others, shorter service calls make for a less expensive bill.
