i had this problem with one brand new out of the box and put on a intermittent pilot spark board and a new gas valve, homeowners are so much happier that they don't have to worry about the pilot...

I agree with this being a trane tech i wouldn't put less than a XL800 Deluxe. On another note in 10 years when a variable speed motor fails those are very costly, i mean VERY!!!
