Dan, on my k-types the (-) prong is fatter than the (+) prong and on my meters they will (should) only fit in that one way... unless you accidentally jam them in the wrong way which ive done a few...

check out the fluke 80pk-10... same exact type of clamp just much bigger for use on 1.25 to 2.5" diameter pipe and also more $$$

i have an hs36 and and an sc53... and a load of other fieldpiece accessories. love em all. love the versatility and compatibility of everything they make and love the fact that fieldpiece is hvac/r...
