If you really want to make it right, go to a local HVAC shop and have them Fabricate you correct square to rounds and get rid of that mess

Zoning rquires correct sized ducts and properly split zones to function properly, Zoning an existing duct system is a lesson in futility at best,
you mentioned main zone is 1000 sq ft, how many sq ft aRE THE other two?, sounds like a duct issue

Infinity systems dont have a barometric damper, instead they use zones not calling as Dump zones, alot has to do with properly sized ductwork but according to Carrier the other spaces shouldnt...
Infinity stats are only compatible with Carrier Infinity equipment, the ecobee has alot of features the Infinity doesnt have
