Service call to house and found 3 ton Carrier unit M# 38BRC036 with a 60 / 5 MFD Capacitor .
Usually a 3 ton takes 35/5 MFD up to 45/5 MFD ?
Q: what happens if that 60 /5 MFD was replaced 6 yrs...

Defrost Board is hook up to all other wires except green(control board only) ;
if that fan motor stay on after you unhook all wires from outside except green and red then its the defrost board !...

Check the freezer for icing in the back panel inside the freezer ,if it does (ice) looks like snow , its the control board for defrost

probaly installed on pier beam and not cement : info is free but advice and doing it right is precious & satifaction of doing it right !

I suggested to set up, all thermostats to the web site and he can control it...

Use Supco for "all" refrigeration work after the fact , to test Temp and prove that those doors "when not in use" close them.
Example : Restuarant cooler after new coil was installed , 15 minutes...

Cleaned it yesterday but noticed it was not making Ice after 20-25 minutes ???
took a peek at Timer, it was in the same position for quite a while . (45 minutes) and never harvested Ice & It stayed...
