follow this advice....it takes more time....but i can't tell you how many service contracts i have taken over because the previous techs didn't diagnosis correctly...restrictions are very common on...

carrier doesn't think about working on the units...they care bout making sales

point 1 - remember the package units that had one door for the compressor/blower/and electrical compartment

what kinda cap are you trying to discharge is the right question...if its a run cap under 80mfds

it will discharge withing 30seconds MAX

now a car audio cap..thats a different story....or a cap...

we had a couple bad HSI from trane here locally as well...like 3 in a row...all went out within a week or so....

so far the new ones ...no problems yet...."fingers crossed"
