After it fills with water close the isolation valve for the water inlet(before the solenoid valve) and see what happens. It might be leaking by. When you unplugged the FS did it go into harvest? I do...
I have and use the TIF-ZX1 and it works very well for me. I have found some very small leaks with it. On walk-ins all I do is just open the door enough to stick the sensor in there and if there is a...
Depends on the air temp.

Do you have anything in the utlilty room that is being pulled into the return? Bleach or other chemicals? Does it smell like your utility room?
Yep just had one like that.
One easy way to check sight glass if unsure is just pump it down.
Did you look at the expansion vlv to see what kind of gas or run the compressor numbers by the supply house to see what it is? R409a you can drop right in an R12 rated system with out major changes....
Frosty Factory is ok also... http://www.frostyfactory.com/products.php
When in doubt change it out. I always replace the LL drier when I open a system up.
The heat inside a kitchen (where most condensers are located) will do more damage then brazing without nitrogen will ever do.
Filter not builder... damn driod.
Break cleaner.
That's a100% proof it's from not using nitrogen. If that's the case wouldn't you see the screen clog alot faster?
It's more of the builder breaking down than anything else.
Welp let it begin... I have never seen it or read any documentation about this happening when nitrogen is not used. Please by all means show me the proof not the "theory" it could be. I would love to...
Sounds like an air leak but I would also check the fan delay.

No.
E2 is memory loss. Needs a new one.
It's from the water. The machine needs to be cleaned more often.
By no means I saying this is what happening but I has seen moisture reak havoc on systems. I have seen where it will form a ball of ice in the txv and screw evrything up. Then after awhile it melts...
I use the wire crap. It works good on the stainless to copper. Knock on wood haven't had any problems

What is the head psi? Could be slightly over charged.
Never mind brain fart.
Also does this have the right charge in it? Was the old charge removed/dumped and new weighed in? Is the dump vlv any good?
What's the suction psi at start up then during the freeze cycle? Should be different.
Could be a bad txv.
I'm going to have to try this.
Did you stamp your feet when you said that???????
Look at any thread on this site and tell me that's not the truth...
Man you can't even take a joke. Mr "negative superheat".:p
Me too.
Depends if they are anything like this site they would be arguing on who's the smarter molecule trying to out-do one another.:grin2:
You need to get out more.
Okay how old is the equpitment? What's more common in walk-ins 134a or
409a? We could go around in circles all night. :couch:
A true refrigeration mechanic can figure out. Why you ask well here it is they know what systems uses what. It's not a crap shoot and if you can't figure it out then get out plain and simple. If you...
Why because I really din't feel the need to bite your head off and re-thought the question.(Didn't want to be a douche)
Then if half the techs don't know they shouldn't be touching it until they...
Crap shoot not really it helps you narrow it down.
So I guess you use snake oil.....
In case you didn't know only 2 things belong in a system that's refrigerant and oil. Not stop leak like wanna beeee's use.;)
A true tech finds the...
Look I don't need to be tested..... And if I EVER have a doubt of what refrigerant is in it and I know whats suppose to be in it. The old crap gets yanked and the right stuff gets put in end of...
Yes this got off track but if don't know how to do something simple as charging a refrigerant than maybe it's a little more complicated than you think.
You really had to respond to that question????????????? Lets get back on the topic ok.
A troll that funny... I've been on this site alot longer than you. A question was asked I gave an answer. If you don't like the answer don't respond period.
I know what most of the people on this thread are. Not saying he wouldn't or couldn't hang right in there. I never said that. But don't beat your chest by writing in red ink and expect me to not say...
They say to charge as a liquid. Now how much gas the unit holds will matter and how often it is just "topped off" and if it's being topped off once per month it will add up. It will be compromised
This is coming from you.
