I picked up a certificate in operations management a couple of years ago. Part of the process involved business law. Probably the best advice for the OP is to speak to a lawyer and find out exactly...
Like the others, I am not a lawyer. As I understand no complete clauses are not valid if only one party benefits from it. Both parties must benefit from the agreement for it to be enforceable.
Thank you.
Same here.
Thank you.
I have a PRG 510 and the 'service' LED is on steady. Any thoughts? Have you seen this before? What is it trying to tell me?
Congrats on the new job. Good luck.

Does anybody have a good routine for rotating hot water/chilled water pumps every 7 days?
There is no supervisory device. Switching will be via display/scheduler.
I worked for the local county government for 7 years as an hvac/ maintenance technician/ jerk of all trades. I always tried to make the buildings better, but soon learned that only mediocrity was...
This is so true. WE are our own worst enemy. To use you Walmart example: People flock to Walmart because of the low prices(??). Walmart then drives the local mom and pops out of business. Recently...
Can this scheduler be configured using the screen buttons?, and if so would anyone have setup instructions? Thank you.
As Scrooloose said, hopefully. OSIYO had a lot of great posts and was very knowledgeable.
I took an $8 an hour pay cut to do controls. Best move I've ever made.

Not able to open the user guide for the vav controllers.
No it isn't, but I appreciate you posting it. My laptop doesn't have the help file for the configuration tool. So, I am looking for a more extensive user guide. I found the guide on the jci website,...
Would anybody have a copy of the user guide for this tool? I tried the jci website, but could not open the links. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. This property is two hours away. The operation is erratic right now. I just want to disable it until I can get back with new replacement module and sensors.
I am having issues with a Honeywell 7212. Although it does not indicate 'free cooling' it will not energize the compressors. If I pull the 24volts powering the economizer module, I should be able to...
Thanks.
I tried the echelon usb adapter for lonspec. I could never get that thing to work. found out later that it was not supported. if I remember correctly, it had something to do with lonspec only...
A lot of good responses. Stay in as long as you can. When you get out try to get into a full time guard or reserve position. Lastly, there are tons of hvac guys out there, some good, some bad. This...
I wonder how this guy made out?
Try to bleed the individual coils also. If air is hiding in there, won't let any water circulate through.
Always best to fill the loop from the lowest point.
Don't know if this will help, but check to make sure you have enough water in the system.
I had a similar problem several years ago, racked my brain, did all the same things you're doing, turned out...
Does your hospital run a third shift that you could work? Work third shift AND run full time business during the day.
Man. Makes me wish I was still in the market for a controls guy job.
It's a good thing the 'inspectors' are on the ball.
Dead on.
Thanks to all who served, are serving, and will serve.
haha. That was my experience when I worked for the company in town with a raeford road address. the 'start up' guy is usually the 'correct all the screwups' guy.
Try the JLL or CBRE websites.
Osiyo is pretty sharp on that line.
I'd like a copy also. Thanks in advance. email in profile.
haha. I grew up eating pork with applesauce.

Excellent post Excel. I've been in this field for 15 years now. Most of it in maintenance. Done some resi service/install, done some commercial, done some controls service and installation. I've...
I remember that series of courses. It was HVAC Systems Design. I got through 4 of the required 7 courses before leaving the state. It was a very good program, taught by very smart and knowledgeable...
You will probably hear many different reasons to not pursue a job at JLL. Some good, some not so good. My story: I work for one of JLL's competitors. Better bennies than when I worked resi/commercial...
