Are those fittings JIC hydraulic flares? If so you should be able to get them anywhere they make hydraulic hoses.

An ultrasonic leak detector might work. Used for diagnosing steam traps and bearing noises etc.

How come the minerals or TDs does not plate out when misted into the air flow? Is it just cooling the air before it goes through the condenser? How do you keep the water from hitting the coil?

I agree Condensate definitely would better than spraying hard ground water on warm aluminum coils. How do you distribute the water over the coil? Do you use a condensate pump?

Get the AKs they are great. And they will help you be a better tech because they are more accurate and you will be more efficient because you watch both temps and pressure s in real time with one...

I have had more problems with lg units than I care to think about. And their tech service is useless. I have done quite a few Fuji single and multi zone s and never had a problem ever.
