Ha ha a garden hose connection, I don't think that's in the code book.
I'll give it 4 months, would have gave it years if you would have used straight weight oil. I was taught to use only straight weight 20 or 30 sae, I think the 10w30 cause a wax buildup or something,...
That's the same compressor I have in my chest type deep freeze. I posted about it a while back, the same thing happened to my, the condensor fan when out. Debated about fixing or replace, end up...
How about if you must put the wrong size in, you just get you sharpie marker and mark down the correct size inside control panel. I like to mark when I install parts anyhow.
A 2.5 ton compressor in a 3 ton condensor is like the new hi-efficiency units with the larger condensor coils. It could work OK for a/c but noway for a heat pump.
I went to the training class and my take on the speed is. In cooling we max out at 100% but in heating it can go up to 115%. So we'll get more heat in the winter.
Yes it does have a thermostat and a pumpdown, but when thermostat opened solenoid the pressure only went up to about 15# and never made LP control set around 18psig.
This setup work ok with r-12...
Hi, a little background. Old R-12 walkin freezer with bad compressor.
Our company put in new compressor and converted to 416A and adjusted TXV superheat.
Freezer has a pumpdown solenoid and a...
Garmin seem slightly better for locating houses, but better interface with TOMTOM.
My biggest complaint about TOMTOM is fastest route is always the interstate or freeway as they call it. Could be...
Thank jim, educated guess of the age of the freezer/compressor?
Here some pics, has anyone seen a compressor like this?
The first pic, right side is the wire going to comp.
Still running with temp fan, haven't really figured how to change fan if I do it....
That what I worried about a new one won't last as long as this one after I fix it.
More than likely will just leave a pc style fan in front of it for a year or two. Hard to access and worried about...
That a good option, the freezer in the basement so it not critical but that would keep it out of the way.
Well my freezer condenser fan finally went out today, it been noisy for awhile off and on. Temporary put a small household fan in front of condenser, working fine.
It has the strangest...
I use to wear Red Wing, the cheaper one, and had to resole and toe sealed, lasted maybe 2 years.
Switched to Wolverine 27 months ago with no problems and more comfortable.
Just brought my new pair...
My question when I go on these kind of calls is why they didn't call the company/person that put it in.
Not too many years ago they had standing pilots that wasn't 100% shut off.
That mean if pilot went off it would not allow main gas but pilot gas remained, not allowed on LP gas.
I would make a note with a marker on the condensing unit the original MFD rating so the next time it goes out the tech know what size was in it. Or you could end up with a 60mfd if the next tech...
Just a few weeks ago I came across a similar problem with a self contained Geotherm unit.
It was a ClimateMaster with a biflow TXV, so like you described no true liquid line.
I did call the...
I was doing a leak search yesterday on a geothermal. Second stage out of refrigerant, R-22 system.
I using a good D-TEK Select Infrared Leak Detector. I disconnect the water heat exchanger and...
I would be questioning why the rollout switch didn't open.
At 9:00pm open windows and I be out in morning.
We try to charge the customer the different between regular and overtime.
Yes we love it, been broken all week and now you call me.
I thought years ago they gave direction for mount bulbs- o'clock thing and when mounting vertical capillary line must face up.
