If the edge is the thermidistat model, it can control the airhandler to dehumidify. It has to be setup correctly and wired correctly.

FV4 is not an infinity system. The airhandler has the capability to slow the blower to dehumidify with the proper thermostat. what thermostat do you have?

Setting the thermostat at 50 and running a steam humidifier isn't a good thing to do. You can potentially condense the steam in your duct and rust it out.

The price differences between successive sizes is typically negligible, especially if you are just talking about a blower size.

Its not multistage. Nest isn't a good thermostat, the 1.5 ton airhandlers are too small for a 2 ton outdoor. Those outdoor units only match with FX4DNF025 OR FX4DNF031.

Its an "estimate" based upon the ratio factor. Also, a 2ton rated heatpump/ac from one manufacturer is not the same as a 2ton rated from another.

The only person I saw make out on a home warranty was a realtor that the home warranty was trying to screw over. He called his HW sales rep, and actually got money.
