The Gv is a condensing boiler, we install a boat load of them, they used to have issues of plugging up but long since solved the issue. I would say the Weil McLain would be a good choice
Do you have the oxygen barrier pex? If so cast iron is fine, if not stainless or brass. Cast, water and oxygen will create rust.
That's what I was seeing, the pw didn't show up on google for me
You know as well as I do, it's all about following the manual, you stick with it and your troubles disappear, not saying it cures everything but in my case I took " A piece of junk " and am pleased...
No that's your secondary pump, the primary looks to be in the boiler, I don't have a pump chart handy to say if the pw 85 is comparable to the 0010.
A poor installation can wreak havoc on your boiler. I got mine used for free last winter, the guy was fed up with it, couldn't get It to run right or something. He had system issues that got fixed...

If I could post images, for some reason I can't I could show an example
Honeywell sr501 I think? Then a taco 007 circ. It would be a simple install
You do need a circulator after the mixing valve, I don't see one. Yes the piping is wrong also but at the least you need a circ after the mixer which would be before the zone valves
Sounds like you could call yourself the foreman. Is ask for $500, $250 ain't worth an ass kicking :D
Ha ha I've read those threads, but seriously here's a video of Frits
Sh!t rolls down hill, now on to ac class :D
My first coil I scrapped I cut the u bends off after the metal bracket then had to pry the metal off, took forever then I got smart and cut the metal and bends off at once. I smash the brackets a few...
The inside of a snap disc looks like the contacts on a ice cube relay
You could have at least closed the disconnect :D
Sure seems to be a lot of yoopers here lately :D
Wow I know how a furnace works and he had me confused :D. That guy is an idiot, the impression I got was if I remove the exhaust pipe and it works maybe I should just leave it off until someone can...
Ruud terminate in 2", t tube will need 4" after so many feet, the bigger ones need 4" anyways
The way I learned was tape and dope with Teflon
