Thinking of the 510 due to the smaller size than my current Mannix.
Something to consider on the Dwyer (I have one also) that the metal body takes a long time to stabilize bringing it in from a cold...
Jim B. Thanks for the videos!
Good info Jim, almost ready to buy the Testo 320. I want to get something new before the season hits hard. My TSI does have a new sensor though. Could keep it for back up. I think the pump is...

1. Call your local HVAC professional.
2. Evaluate current system
3. Have them perform Manual J
4. Manual S
5. Manual D
6. Quote for the repair.
7. Expect to pay for items 2,3,4 & 5.
I have a 120VAC "Kill a watt", but looking for something that can handle 230VAC, such as for condensing units to measure true power and not apparent. Anyone have something they use for this?

Actually, BTU/W_H is EER, not to be confused with SEER. EER is "at that instant" where as SEER is "Seasonal" and not easily computed.
SEER is defined by AHRI and has a standard (ARI 210/240) and...

The Maximum rated ESP is usually .5 for a cooling ready unit and .2 for heat only.
Most mobile home units such as Intertherm and Coleman that are approved for that application max out at .3".

Please share this with us. I would like to see your numbers.
Anything new out there for testing acid on hermetics besides Total Test, Checkmate or those chessy litmus papers?
I currently have the Testo 550 and was going to get another for back up. Looked at the Digicool AK900 but was ruled out since there is no factory clamp, only some sort of velcro strap that will...
I will have to consider your opinion. Can save some $$ if I go with the 327.
It appeared to do more on paper, but if it just graphical I can to ok with just numbers as U taught!
Just got your...
Been looking at thek testo 330 L series.
My TSI is getting tired but still works great. the 330 is spendy though.
Ps: Jim D, found the elevation ASHRAE paper.
If this was to ever happen then I would be glad to move over to Digi-Cool and imagine the same holds true for others. This whole sensor issue is the weak link on the 900's unfortunately.
Inspect your manifold and or burner alignment. This problem can occur if it is off, usually the Z axis.
The Robertshaw replacement is problematic. I believe this is the one Johnstone supply is providing.
Most of the time the spark gap is hard to get correct and if it does lite, the switch doesn't...
After I posted I seen a few threads on modifications. Seems it would be easier to buy the 1250 clamps and modify the plug in, rather than reworking the whole velcro strap.
Currently have the Testo 550's (2nd set via warranty) and looking for another set of digital gauges. Was all ready to get the Digi-Cool AK900, but the deal breaker seems to be you can only use the...

I'm between 4,200 and 6,500 feet (depends on where my call is at) and concur with ASHRAE and Jim. There are only two brands and a specific model/btu within the brands that I have to derate most...
The Co2 will let you know how effective ventilation (fresh air) in an occupied space is.
Been searching the net and looking at hand held CO2 meters. Most of them come with temp and humidity which I don't need. (already have those tools)
Data logging would be nice.
What are you guy's...
Doug did email quickly and we exchanged information. I was expecting a new 550 manifold. I very quickly received the UPS package.
Doug went further and sent a whole new set; Manifold, temp...
Could make a feature the user can turn on or off and a few choices of auto off time.
Ok I've been in contact with Doug and making arrangements to get it handled.
As for my comment "Now I'm ok with the bugs getting worked out, but after reviewing a few other post we now know that...
I left you email, thanks for the input.
