just an update. I went with the Vision Pro IAQ and I'm running the outdoor wood burner on the emergency circuit and so far it seems to be working well.

Now I want to find out how the reset...

I understand that part, but I'm running two seperate control circuits on two different relays to allow the boiler stat to bring on indoor blower and outdoor pump, and the hp stat brings on indoor...

thankfully in 18 years I have never had a pump or blower failure that caused me to use the heat pump as a back up. I'm a bit ocd on preventive maintenance. It will happen though I'm sure.

Well, the system is in and my guy is doing the controls today. Looks like he feels we can use the emerg heat for the outdoor wood burner circuit, and the cool stages for the hp. We'll see how it goes.
